I come today with reviews on the best Apps for learning a new language. I will personally test all of them so I can tell you if it’s really worth downloading it.
I personally love this app and it is destined for beginners. It starts with the basics and you even have evaluation tests. If you do know a little about the language you are trying to study, you can always test out meaning you take a test and if everything is correct, the lessons are marked as done (in red) and where you make mistakes, the specific lesson is marked as not done.
The lessons are clearly divided and easy to understand.
As you can see, it starts from scratch and the good thing is, after a week, the finished lessons are marked as not finished just because the app thinks you need a little more practice or you may have forgotten a few things. Cool, right?
Now, regarding the lessons and exercises, in the beginning you have a test.
And the exercises are easy in the first part and harder in the last part, I will give you some examples.
And listening. If you can not listen, skip this exercise.
Of course, sometimes even if you write the correct answer, it can say it was not correct, because English has many translations and one sentence can have multiple meanings. I will leave it to you to discover the rest of them.👨🏻💻
The course works on experience points, the more English you practice, the more experience points you get, with them you can go to the shop and buy stuff. And there is a community where you can see how everyone else is doing, you can even ask them for help.
And the most interesting part, Duo will remind you to practice everyday and you have a daily target set by yourself, just to motivate yourself.
Are you curious? I hope you find this App as interesting and educational as I did.
